Lake Iowa Nature Center - Ladora

The Lake Iowa Nature Center brought in Abundant Playscapes to generate a playscape that reflected the values of the Iowa County Conservation Board; providing a children a chance to connect to nature through play. The playscape sits on a sloped area approximately 1.5 acres and has a sand play area, messy materials, gathering spaces, a tree house, dramatic play stage, eco-friendly plant materials, art & construction area and a secret pathway into the existing woods. The County Board organized volunteers to help in building the environment. Completion of the implementation for the site is set for Fall 2012.
